HOW DOES IT WORK?
Whether it’s your first time behind the scenes or you’re looking to learn more, we begin at a point that makes sense for YOU. Websites are a confusing, mysterious place at first, and we understand. That’s why we begin without excessive technical jargon, instead breaking it down in ways that will allow you to move beyond the initial fear and quickly begin making things come to life.
Typically we start with WordPress as a training grounds. Why? Because learning the basics on the WordPress platform will allow you to adapt to virtually all other website building platforms. Also, it offers unlimited depth of learning opportunities, so you can take your journey as far as you like.
Live instruction happens over video call via Google Meet or Zoom – You can be anywhere in the world during our sessions. All you need is a laptop or desktop with a microphone (no camera required). See prerequisites below
A note about WordPress:
Nearly 50% of all sites on the world-wide-web are built using WordPress. It is THE most popular single platform out there. We are not sponsored by them, nor do we benefit financially in any way by choosing WordPress. It is simply a popular platform that also is great for learning upon.
There are some basic prerequisites necessary to begin:
- Functioning Laptop or Desktop computer running current operating system (Windows or iOS).
- Functioning microphone (camera is optional).
- Having dual monitors is not a requirement but is beneficial.
- Basic internet connection with reliable performance.
- Must have basic level of competency with your computer’s operating system.
- Willingness to schedule focused, distraction-free time. We recommend a quiet, dedicated room.
- Ability to provide payment through Venmo or PayPal
SESSIONS & PACKAGES
We strive to keep our instruction affordable so anyone can learn to build their own site. Most of all, we think you’ll find our sessions fun, exciting, and responsive to your skill level and learning style.
We offer options for one-on-one and group instruction, available one at a time or multi-session package discounts.
Retainer arrangements are available for small businesses wishing to have web expertise on board without the cost of a dedicated position in-house. (Please contact us to discuss).
All Coaching Sessions include access to our ‘Sandbox’ practice environment to further your learning opportunities between live instruction!

One-on-One
- Focused Individual Instruction
- Minimum 30 minutes per session
- Billed in 15 minute increments
- Schedule min 24hrs in advance

- 2 - 5 seats per session
- 45 minutes live instruction
- 15 min one-on-one follow-up call

REFUND POLICY
We value everyone’s time—yours, fellow students’ and ours. Please review the following policy carefully before booking any session.
One-on-One Sessions
- Cancellations with at least 12 hours’ notice are eligible for a full refund or may be rescheduled at no additional cost.
- Cancellations with less than 12 hours’ notice are non-refundable and not eligible for credit or rescheduling, for any reason.
Group Sessions
Due to the nature of organizing group sessions around the schedules of multiple participants:
- Group sessions are non-refundable.
- If you provide at least 12 hours’ notice before the session start time, your payment may be applied as a credit toward a future group session.
- Cancellations with less than 12 hours’ notice are not eligible for a refund or credit.
No-Shows
- Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice is treated as a late cancellation and is not eligible for a refund or credit.
Exceptions
- No exceptions are made for late cancellations, including but not limited to scheduling conflicts, technical issues, or personal circumstances.
